My hair stylist said it would be a mohawk of color.  And it is.  And I love it.

Thinking about it....my thoughts were "it's gonna sting, but I really wanna wear earrings."  So I decided screw it.

Oh my gosh!  I cannot believe it!!  Eeeeeee!!!  I don't know what to say.  I'm excited.  And that's it.

Eeeeeeee!!!!  OH MY GOD!!!  I did the funnest thing ever today.  It's this weird thing called Zorbing.  It's where you get into this giant beach ball with another ball in the middle and they put water in the middle.  And there's this other way you can do it...it's where they harness you in the ball and if I did that I would kinda barf.  That one goes up and down and all around.  The water one keeps you from going upside down and throwing up.  I guess some people don't get sick to their stomachs doing stuff like that, but I do.  And if your wondering what that guy laying down is doing...he works there and he was messing with us.  He said we ran over him and that it hurt, but no he was just messing with us.  The people who work there like to get run over.  They say it's fun.  They say you just hold your breath and it's done.  

What I said when I saw this picture, "Wow I'm pretty!"

This was probably one of the scariest hair cuts I've done.  It's not scary...I was scared of getting it.  This is my favorite hair cut I've ever gotten.

I got my hair done today.  I love it.  It looks orange-ish is the pictures, but really it's red, hot pink and purple with some turquoise thrown in.  I'm tired now.  I'm going to bed.

My Friends

Well first you're probably wondering what that picture is. It's me and my best friend and her sister.  We performed in the talent show at the Live and Learn Conference. Now you might be wondering what the Live and Learn Conference is.  It is a conference for unschooling families. It is the greatest greatest greatest greatest thing! Of course there's Life Is Good, and the Northeast Unschooling Conference, and the Toronto Unschooling Conference (which I'm going to) and the non-cons (non-conference unschooler get-togethers). Live and Learn is the first one I went to.  And my best friend is my best best best best best friend and we me at Live and Learn.  And I'm going to see her in April!!!!!  This one's for her sister: Johnny Depp completes the world.  

Tragedy Strikes

I am sick.  It is tragic.  Ok just kidding, let's cut the crap.  I have some kind of weird stomach virus, and it sucks. You should have seen my mom eat Wendy's today.  I was so jealous. Hopefully I'll be better by tomorrow. I can't really find a picture for this post. Unless it was just a picture of me throwing up and that would be inappropriate. 

Bratz are Awesome!!

Bratz dolls, Bratz dolls, Bratz dolls. They are the greatest toy ever! I like their "lollipop" bodies. One time I had a Bratz fashion show.  That's how much I love Bratz.  I like their sassy personalities.  And that's it.  

I can't wait til April!!!

I am so excited to go see Kyra.  I'm also excited to see Abbi, Alec, Kelli and Tim.  And I'm excited to see her dog and her snake and her guinea pig.  And I'm excited to see their house and the town of Bemidji, MN.  

My First Post

My name is Shelby.  I am unschooled, obviously.  I have two dogs, Bama and Roxy.  Almost every dog we have isn't normal.  Bama is an English Bulldog.  People walk up to him and scream and get all freaked out, but really he is the sweetest dog in the world.  And now my dog, Roxy. She is definitely not normal.  You look at her and say, "Oh she's the cutest dog in the world," which is how we ended up getting her.  But then we gave her her first bath.  Let's just say she looked like a drowned rat.  

And then me....well I am 9 years old.  My favorite food is spaghetti.  I just redid my room.  It's the coolest room ever. Oyunlar (or smiley face dot com as I call it) is my favorite website.  It has games from dress up to farting.  It's pretty cool.  I've just started playing World Of Warcraft.  It is the greatest game ever.  

And now my parents....well you look at our car and you say "Oh, she's a soccer mom."  And you look at our gas cover and see a soccer ball magnet and think she's definitely a soccer mom.  And then you look at the back of the car.  She's studying midwifery and she unschools.  We actually see some angry faces looking at our bumper stickers.  Now my dad.  He's a drug-abuse counselor.  Right now he has purple and black hair.  His hair looks awesome!  And he's awesome!  So that's my family.
